GLP1 & Diabetic Journey
🌿 Who I Am
Hi, I’m Lisa — and this space exists because my health journey hasn’t been simple, quiet, or linear.
I’m living with type 2 diabetes, navigating GLP-1 medication, and learning (sometimes the hard way) how to care for a body that’s been through a lot.
I’m a cancer survivor, someone who has battled exhaustion, burnout, fear, and the mental weight that comes with chronic health challenges — and I’m still here, choosing myself one day at a time.
This blog isn’t about perfection or overnight transformations.
It’s about real life.
I’m sharing my journey because I know what it feels like to:
Feel overwhelmed by numbers, medications, and conflicting advice
Be scared to start something new (even when you know it could help)
Wonder if your body will ever feel like it’s working with you instead of against you
Here, you’ll find honest conversations about:
Life on a GLP-1 medication
Lowering A1C in a realistic, sustainable way
Food, protein, nausea days, fatigue days, and “nothing sounds good” days
Mental health, mindset shifts, and celebrating small wins
I’m not a doctor. I’m not here to tell you what you should do.
I’m just someone walking this path out loud, hoping that by sharing mine, you feel a little less alone in yours.
If you’re navigating diabetes, weight changes, fear, hope, setbacks, or victories — welcome.
You belong here 🤍
